About three gen cookies

We’re Gail and Carolyn - the mom and daughter behind Three Gen Cookies. We both have full-time careers, so this little on-the-side cookie studio is our creative outlet. Gail is the primary baker, and Carolyn the primary decorator. “Three Gen” is short for three generations. We have one sugar cookie recipe that’s time tested and amazing: handed down to us on a vintage recipe card from the special person in our family who taught us to bake and puts the “three” in our name.

It’s rare, we’ve learned, to find a decorated sugar cookie that tastes as good as it looks. So when we started bringing our cookies to family gatherings, everyone encouraged us to sell them. That’s when Three Gen Cookie Studio was born.

While our recipe is vintage, our process is modern: we use organic ingredients, make custom cookie cutters from recycled aluminum and decorate with silk screens, custom stencils, hand lettering, airbrushing, and more. When we design iced, cut-out sugar cookies for you, we’ll create one-of-a-kind, edible works of art that make a statement.
